After falling to Edina in the opening game of the 94th Minnesota American Legion State Tournament, Buffalo Legion Post 270 defeated New Ulm Gold Legion Post 132 by a score of 5-1 to advance to a key elimination round game with Woodbury Blue.
Woodbury Blue continued their march through the elimination bracket by picking up their fourth win in a row and knocking out two-time defending champion Tri-City Red by scoring four runs in the top half of the fifth inning while marching to a 4-2 win.
