Two, five-run rallies propel Blue past Gold
This year’s edition of the Red Haddox Wood Bat Classic featured a solid eight-time field with Bloomington Blue losing to Coon Rapids 13-2 in the championship game on Sunday night at Haddox Field.
Blue opened the tournament with a 3-1 win over Anoka before a 12-6 loss to Prior Lake on Friday. The lone Saturday game for Blue found the team on the winning end of a 13-1 result over Rosetown. They returned to Haddox for a Sunday morning rematch against Bloomington Gold and came away with a 3-1 win to reach the championship game later on Sunday. Click here to read more.
