The Rochester Redhawks scored four runs in the third inning and rolled to a 10-3 Legion baseball victory over Albert Lea on Thursday night.
The Redhawks added two insurance runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth. They belted out nine hits.
Alex Prindle continued his hot hitting for the Redhawks. He went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Eric Jensen was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored, while Lucas Jahns added a double, two RBIs and a run scored.
Thomas Krause picked up the pitching win. He went four innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits, while striking out four and walking two. Ethan Sawallisch earned the save, closing out the game with three scoreless innings. He struck out three.
The Redhawks improved to 2-1. They return to action at noon Saturday in a doubleheader against Mankato at Massey Field.
