Rochester Patriots Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Duluth Lakeview

Rochester Patriots defeated Duluth Lakeview 10-8 in a back-and-forth affair on Friday. The game was tied at eight with Rochester Patriots batting in the bottom of the eighth when Kip Grunholz singled off of Drew Grindahl, driving in one run.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as Rochester Patriots collected ten hits and Duluth Lakeview ten. Duluth Lakeview captured the lead in the first inning. Jack Payette drove in one when he doubled in the first inning.

Rochester Patriots scored three runs in the seventh inning. Rochester Patriots's big inning was driven by a error and a single by Alex Jensen.
Duluth Lakeview scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Duluth Lakeview came thanks to a home run by Tyler Orr, a error, and a walk by Carter Peterson.

Zach Smith earned the win for Rochester Patriots. He went three innings, surrendering one run, two hits, striking out six, and walking one. Drew Grindahl took the loss for Duluth Lakeview. He tossed five innings, allowing five runs, five hits, striking out three, and walking one.

Andrew Schmidt started the game for Rochester Patriots. He went three and a third innings, giving up three runs, six hits, striking out four, and walking one. Sam Laakso started the game for Duluth Lakeview. He tossed three innings, giving up five runs, and five hits.

Smith and Kip Grunholz each collected multiple hits for Rochester Patriots. Smith went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Rochester Patriots in hits.
Tyler Seymour, Orr, and Payette each collected multiple hits for Duluth Lakeview. Duluth Lakeview tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Grindahl led the way with two.
